Franco Garelli. Professor of Sociology of cultural processes at the University of Turin, where he trained at the school of Luciano Gallino. He is member and he was part of the Governing Council of the International Society for the Sociology of Religion and he coordinated for several years the Sociology of religions of AIS, the Association of Italian Sociologists. He was visiting professor at several American universities and at the Ecole pratique des hautes études in Paris. Among his most recent publications Religione all’italiana.
