Adriano Favole. Vice Director for research at the Department of Cultures, Politics and Society at the University of Turin, where he teaches Cultural anthropology, Culture and power, Ethnology of Oceania. He taught at the universities of Milan, Genoa, Bologna and in New Caledonia. He travelled and researched in Futuna (western Polynesia), New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Australia and Réunion (Indian Ocean). His main fields of research are political anthropology, anthropology of the body, anthropology of heritage. Cooperates with La Lettura of Corriere della Sera. Among his latest publications Oceania.
