Francesco Zanotelli. Anthropologist, researcher at the University of Messina, where he teaches Social and Family Anthropology. He has a PhD in Anthropological Science at the University of Turin and he conducted post-graduate research at the department of Philosophy and Social Science at the University of Siena. He taught at the universities of Siena, Bologna, Venice Ca’ Foscari, Modena and Reggio Emilia, he was also visiting professor at Universidad de Sevilla, Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond and Universidad IberoAmericana of Mexico City. On the topics of family, he published several essays in Italy and in foreign countries and, together with Simonetta Grilli, he curated the book Scelte di famiglia. Tendenze della parentela nella società contemporanea (Edizioni ETS, 2011).
