Emanuele Felice. Economy professor at D’Annunzio University of Chieti-Pescara. From 2010 to 2015, he was professor of Economic History at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He took part as speaker to several conferences and seminars, in four different continents and in some of the most prestigious universities in the world. Among his books: Perché il Sud è rimasto indietro (Il Mulino, 2013 and 2016, Sele d’oro award and Fontanamare Ignazio Silone award), Ascesa e Declino. Storia Economica d’Italia (Il Mulino, 2015, National cultural award Benedetto Croce and Premio dell’Associazione per il progresso economico), Storia economica della felicità (il Mulino, 2017). He is currently a columnist for Repubblica (previously for La Stampa).
